Science Fusion Online Activation Procedure

Procedure for HMH Science Fusion Parent Activation of Online Access

All Science Fusion orders placed via an individual Purchase Order will need to be activated by the ES or the Parent.  ESs should make sure to retrieve the online access user/password from the parent in case the parent leaves CWCS before the license expires.  

ESs will receive an activation letter packaged with the print materials.  The letter will have instructions for the parent to follow to activate their online account. 

After the parent emails the required information (as per the instructions above) to sciencefusionhs@hmhco.com, they will begin the activation process.  They will receive three (3) emails before their account is fully activated.

1.       The first email comes from sciencefusionhs@hmhco.com letting the parent know that they have received the request and are working on it.

2.       The second one is the email that tells how to log in.

3.       The third one is significantly less complex and has the username and password. Once this email has been received, the parent can log in and begin using their account.  

Please note: there can be 2-4 business days in between each step.  If more ample time has passed and you have not received information on the next step, please check your spam folder, and then call HMH Customer Service at 800-225-5425.

CWCS does NOT manage the online platform for individual Science Fusion purchases.

If your print materials arrived without an Activation Instructions Letter, please contact the business office at poinquiries@cwcharter.org.  Include the PO # AND the parent email address with a note letting them know the Activation Instructions Letter was missing.  The business office will send a copy of the PO with the parent email to sciencefusionhs@hmhco.com to begin the activation process.
