Accreditation

WASC Accreditation Disclaimer

Attention High School Students (Grades 9-12)

As of the 2018-2019 school year, CWCV has applied for WASC Accreditation and is striving to meet initial accreditation criteria.  If initial accreditation criteria is not met, then CWCV anticipates candidacy will be granted, allowing CWCV a reasonable amount of time to meet the criteria for accreditation.  Either award will allow CWCV the opportunity for full accreditation retroactive to the 2018-2019 school year, however, there are no guarantees of full accreditation as of the 2018-2019 school year.

High School students attending a non-accredited school should be aware that:

1.      Coursework taken at CWCV may not be transferable to other high schools

2.      Most colleges require students to graduate from an accredited high school

3.      Non-accredited school graduates are not eligible for Cal Grant financial assistance for college or vocational school

4.      See Why Accreditation for more information

At the elementary and middle school levels, the transfer of records and credits from a non-accredited school to an accredited school is usually not a problem.
